Coke Deal at CVS

To make this a little sweeter (buy 4 12 pks for $13 and get $3 ECB back) Use your www.MyCokeRewards.com points (200 points) to buy a printable B1G1 coupon AND (35 points) $1 off any 1 coupon (you can print them both twice)... I did this twice today and got 8 12 packs (2 different cards as limit is 4 12 pks per household) as well as a ton of Hannah Montana pens and some candy, 6 Corn Pops to go packs, 4 Snyder Pretzel 6 packs and some cookies (all items but coke was 90% off) and in TOTAL after existing ECBs and coupons I paid $6.41 cents and got back $6 in ECBs...

HI I an new to this post. How did you get those items at 90% off? thanks

CVS often outs items on salat at 1/2 off, then 75% and then 90% just to get it out of the store. Sometimes those markdowns come in the form of a corporate download and when that happens (as with the Hershey candy) the managers and cashiers in the stores have NO IDEA... so don't be surprised when THEY are surprised at what a deal you got... as soon as I find out something is marked down I'll post it... right now ALL of the back to school and Hannah Montana items are on sale cheap as they try to make room for the Halloween reset and soon after the Christmas. They have a TON of merchandise to squeeze into those stores for the holiday and thry just have to make room. See the post today abotu clearance...

Stupid Q of the day...do you KNOW ahead of time these items are 90% off or do you just take the chance when you get to the register???

This type of shopping is soooo new to me!

Sometimes I know due to connections and other times I just guess and scan to see what the price rings as. We have an advantage in Florida that other states do not in those freestanding scanners. The corporate offices are in FL so they test things here... other states will begin to get those scanners if they are a success which I understand that they are but for now they have to ask employees to price check everything... but as I know what's coming, I'll be sure to post so people can check in their areas.

what is a blinkie coupon? I saw it referenced in a prior post. Wher do you get most of your coupons?

Blinkie's are those machines throughout the store that... blink and you take out a coupon and it rolls another out to be taken... I get most coupons from the paper but I also get them from other sources... will make that a main blog post...
